Poly Marketing Pty Ltd (Envorinex) commissioned Net Balance Management Group Pty Ltd (Net Balance) to undertake an independent audit on 6th June, 2013 of the four listed Envorinex rigid PVC products against the Best Practice Guidelines for PVC in the Built Environment (the guidelines).

Envorinex uses PVC resin (Corvic) that is produced by Australian Vinyls that has been certified against the guidelines.  The audit established that stabilisers used during product manufacture are compliant with the guidelines and that no plasticisers are used. End of life management operations satisfy the requirements of the guidelines and are undertaken through a take back scheme for all products considered as part of this audit. Envorinex purchase and acquire volumes of recyclate for use in manufacturing other Envorinex products, however the use of recylate in the four listed products is precluded by AS/NZ standards.

The audit included a review of documentation and interviews with staff at Environex’s George Town site in support of compliance documentation pathway 2 – Manufacturer’s Declaration of compliance with the guidelines (as per the Green Star PVC credit - Auditor Verification Guidance).

This certificate is in evidence that these products are produced in a manner that is compliant with the requirements of the Best Practice Guidelines for PVC in the Built Environment detailed as part of the Green Star PVC credit.
