Emergency Pavement Delineators

E.P.D's

Manufactured from 100% recycled, UV stabilised, impact modified, UPVC; the EPD's have been designed by emergency service personnel for the provision of immediate delineation (with no assembly requirements) at a hazard to enhance the safety of response personnel and members of the public.

With a 20+ year design life, EPD's are strong enough to withstand being driven over and are deployed as an immediate action to delineate a hazard, without obscuring other traffic control devices.

EPD's command attention, especially in fog, rain or smoke by conveying a clear warning message to slow down and/or deviate around the delineated hazard.

EPD's are 215mm high with a 300mm foot for stability complete with a fitted Class 1 reflective red adhesive reflector and weighing only 340 grams.

A pack of EPD's measure 350mm x 52mm x 250mm for ease of stowage and weight just 2.04kgs.

EPD's are impervious to acid, alkali, chemical, grease, hydrocarbon and oils.

EPD's are easy to clean, just wash with detergent and rinse.

EPD's can be either vertical or horizontal, depending on terrain and hazard site conditions.

EPD's do not present a hazard to road users, as there is no existing standard sign or marker for this role.

EPD's are not at variance with any use elsewhere - it is a non-confusable warning of a potentially not self evident, hazardous situation.
